Habitat Improvement/Wildlife Management Program
The clubs habitat improvement/wildlife management project will be suspended until after the spring turkey season. The project will resume the last week in May and continue through August. WE SURE CAN USE YOUR HELP.
All of the wood duck boxes have been cleaned and new bedding material added for this years breeding season. FYI: We had a 95% usage rate and a 88.3% hatch rate for the 2013 breeding season.
PLEASE BE PATIENT
The gas and oil company will soon be installing a new pipe line on club property. During the installation the main access road to the lake will not be available to vehicle traffic. It should be down for a couple weeks. During this time we ask all members to respect the workers and let them complete their task. If you you are hunting, be aware of the pipeline crew and adjust you hunting accordingly. If you want to fish, you can access the lake along the east side trail. Please be patient. Thank you.
